Tuesday 4th Febrauary 2025 marked the official re-opening of the St Luke's Cancer Centre level A & B and we're so thrilled to be a part of the team who made this happen.
The ribbon was cut by none other than paralympic Gold Medalist and former patient Erin Kennedy OBE. Erin commented that this "leaves a legacy similar to a tree which many patients will benefit from its shade long time after we’ve gone".
Such a wonderful moment and one which really sums up the impact we make on our community.

The St Luke's Cancer Centre development has created extra clinical space, as well as improving the patient experience.
The project was handed over in the summer of 2024 with the opening of a brand new extension which will house a welcoming reception and waiting area with a new coffee house. The expansion will double the amount of clinical space to support the increasing demand for its cancer services.
The project was designed to be constructed over nine phases to allow continuity of clinical services. Each phase has been meticulously designed and planned to minimise disruption and allow decant of staff between phases.
K2’s appointment covered Business Case development, Project Management, Contract Administrator and Quantity Surveying services.
