We’re delighted to announce a key new appointment to the growing K2 Construction Management leadership team.

Human resources professional Kate van der Graaf has joined as HR Business Partner.

Kate has a strong and varied background, having held key roles at Nike within HR, business strategy, operations and sales across the UK and Europe.

Kate’s experience of running high performing teams, hiring, coaching, and developing people will be a key asset to support K2’s ambitions. Kate will work across the K2 Construction Management business, North and South, being based in our Middlesborough office.

Having a passion for people stretches beyond Kate’s professional role and in 2022 jointly founded a wellbeing charity called Yarm Wellness with a team of like-minded people. The charity aims to alleviate isolation and improve mental & physical wellbeing, offering a life-affirming programme including yoga, a community choir, support groups, veterans’ breakfasts and much more. Kate remains involved with the charity as a Trustee.
