ALLAN LWANGA AND PHIL BAILY
JOIN K2 CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
We’re delighted to announce two senior hires for K2 Construction Management as we look to expand our team.
Allan Lwanga joins us as Technical Director and Phil Baily joins us as Pre-Construction Director. Both of them have recently undertaken MBA’s in Construction and Real Estate. We’re really excited to have them on board. Here’s a potted history of them both.
Allan joins us from CBRE where he was Head Project/Cost Manager MEA region (UK based) and Managing Director Project Management Energy and Resources sector (Global - UK based). While Allan was there he established and led the Middle East & Africa business (delivery of construction projects in the region). This was achieved by growing the capability and capacity for the delivery of projects for both global & local clients in the MEA region. Prior to this Allan worked for the likes of Arcadis (EC Harris), Turner & Townsend, and Gardiner & Theobald LLP.
Allan is into health & Fitness, and a regular at his local gym, plus enjoys reading biographies of successful people from the sports and business world.
Phil joins us from London Square and has been working in the Development sector for the last 11 years. Phil brings with him strong construction and technical knowledge along with insight into development budget and viability. Phil started his career through the Willmott Dixon Management Trainee scheme where he also earned a First-Class Honours degree in Construction Management.
Right now, Phil, who is in the process of finishing an MBA in Construction and Real Estate, is doing his research project into SME housebuilders, the challenges facing them, and how they can support the governments housing targets.
Phil has two boys who keep him busy, he likes to go to the gym regularly and is a keen, but not overly effective, golfer! Phil also enjoys nothing more than eating out with a nice glass of red wine, preferably a Primitivo or a Malbec.
