Egis is a passionate and hardworking Contracts Manager, working within the UK construction industry for over 25 years. Egis demonstrates excellent capability to work under pressure, both within a team and also independently.

Egis applies a logical approach to problem solving and communicating well at all levels and in a number of languages. He is an experienced MCIOB qualified Construction Contracts Manager, with additional health and safety qualifications and personal practical experience of many trades.

What do you enjoy most about the industry?

I enjoy the diversity of projects, the variety of people I get to work with, and the wide range of skills involved in construction.

What motivates you?

Unknown challenges motivate me. I thrive on solving problems and finding innovative solutions

What skills and characteristics do you look for in people?

I value honesty and dedication in people. Honesty builds trust, which is essential for strong relationships and effective teamwork. Dedication shows a person’s commitment to their goals and to overcoming challenges. Both qualities are key for achieving long-term success and fostering a positive, productive environment.

What’s your personal philosophy?

My personal philosophy is: "If you're not fixing, you're choosing." It reminds me to take action and make improvements whenever possible.

What are your passions outside of work?

Outside of work, my passion is spending time with my family. They are my greatest source of joy.

What’s your best career advice?

"Do it now, don’t wait for later." Procrastination can hinder progress, so it's important to act promptly.

How did you get into construction?

Construction runs in the family. I grew up around it and developed a passion for building and creating from a young age.
