Andy is a professionally qualified Planner and Project Manager with over 40 years of industry experience. Andy keeps his skills current and has a passionate approach to quality of product, client focus and developing the skills of junior staff. His career has spanned main contracting, construction management, consultancy planning and construction project management on a wide range of schemes.

What advice would you give to someone looking to get into what you do?
Immerse yourself in “the process” from inception to site delivery and listen to experience.

Eiffel Tower –Elegant engineering and so outrageously ahead of its time.

What do you enjoy most about your role?
The creativity of planning and programming a complex construction project.
How did you get into construction?
I wish I could say it was a burning ambition, but it was a slightly desperate last-minute decision before college enrolment closed.

Believe in yourself, be courageous and don’t be afraid of making mistakes

"Do it now, don’t wait for later." Procrastination can hinder progress, so it's important to act promptly.

That’s a seriously long time ago……I would probably have said captain of a ship.
